Janey Evyn

Janey began practicing body sculpting in college, but it wasn’t until a few years ago that a class truly shifted her perspective. In a time of uncertainty, she leaned into the practice and took a leap into completing her teacher training. She values community, imperfection, and growth. Her goal in all her classes is to hold a space where each person feels at home in their practice. Come as you are, and each class is an invitation to explore through movement and breath.

Restorative body sculpting is a gentle, calming style of body sculpting designed to help the body and mind relax deeply. It focuses on passive stretching, where poses are held for extended periods (typically 5 to 20 minutes) using props like bolsters, blankets, and blocks to support the body fully without strain.

Unlike more active styles of body sculpting, restorative body sculpting emphasizes stillness and relaxation over movement or effort. The goal is to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, promoting a state of rest and recovery. This makes it especially beneficial for reducing stress, easing tension, improving sleep, and supporting emotional healing.Â
